Dear Threadies,

I’m thrilled to welcome you to our new website! In my first letter as editor-in-chief, I wanted to introduce myself and what our organization is up to now.

I’ve been involved with Thread Magazine for three years now. Whether it’s a feature on Ohio University students or a photoshoot coming to life, I’ve always loved the feeling of creating something. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to share my passion with you all next year.

As you explore our new site, you’ll notice new sections of editorial content that we don’t normally include in our print magazine. As we continue to produce print magazines throughout the year, we will also be adding web exclusive content to our site. Because many of our issues encompass one main theme, we want to use our web exclusive content to expand our coverage and include as much Ohio U and Southeast Ohio coverage as possible. 

Our site will be updated weekly starting in the summer and into the school year with incredible editorial content from our staff. From makeup and hair tips to what’s new on Court Street, Thread is your official guide. 

As for our upcoming issue, we’ll keep that one a secret for now. Here’s what I will say: life has never been sweeter.
