Hey all! My name is Gwyneth Shoemaker, and I’m a junior studying Publication Design in the Visual Communication program with a minor in Marketing. I’ve been obsessed with design and art for as long as I can remember, and joining Thread during my freshman year was such an exciting step. Thread has helped me grow as a creative, explore so many different aspects of design, and work alongside insanely talented people. Now, as Design Director, I’m beyond excited to help bring our magazine to life and create an inspiring space for our team.

When I’m not designing, you can probably find me crafting, chatting, baking, or hanging out with my friends. Thread was my social hour as a general body member, where I met the best people, built friendships, and felt part of something bigger. I love living my life colorfully and with so much joy, and my goal is to make every Threadie feel that same excitement when they come to meetings each week.
