Hello! My name is Courtney Getter, and I am the Assistant Fashion Director for Thread Magazine. I major in Communication Studies and minor in Retail and Fashion Merchandising and Theater. My favorite part about being in Thread Magazine is the people and the freedom to be creative. The people are absolutely tremendous and allow me to be myself. They are my family here at Ohio University. My other favorite part about being in Thread is the freedom to be creative. Thread Magazine is all about being an artist, and it allows me to have an escape. My form of art is fashion and clothing, and it allows me to use my artistic abilities to create different outfits related to the themes of the photoshoots. Thread is an amazing place to grow creatively and make friends that will last a lifetime.
